it looks like to me these people that are verified purchasers are people who are getting this book for free when Susan Gillard offers it for free. As far as the murderer confessing, apparently they didn't realize the purpose of this book and that the confession was put in place because this guy was being persuaded to. Hence the character Mr. Clarke. I enjoyed this book and I have a feeling that this is not going to be the end of the Mr. Clarke character and I can't wait to read more about him. He is a new Village of Hillside.To those reviewers out there if you don't enjoy this book then don't read it and then write a review. If you don't want to get the book for free then tell the author I no longer want to do it or just keep deleting the book. Stop complaining and move on apparently you're not a fan yet you still keep getting the books for free. Stop being cheap and pay for the books because this was an excellent book. It's only being published on Amazon it's only between $0.99 or $2.99 and then after a week it's free. This is not a j.d.robb novel this is not a $30 book. I swear they're just miserable people in this world that want to complain about anything and everything.

Kate is at it again trying cause Heather trouble. Heather and Amy are hard at work trying to solve the new murder in town.
I have read several books in this series and have been pleased with all of them. I like the characters and there's always mystery there but I was surprised how this one ended and not pleasantly!
I enjoy all of the donut hole mysteries. When I just want to chill and want to rest my mind, I can disappear into this pleasant world for an hour or two and enjoy myself.
This series is short stories & fast moving. I enjoyed them all so far. However she really should get a new proof reader because whoever is doing it now does not catch any of misused words or errors.
This was the 43rd in the series and it's a little different from the ones before. Heather and Amy investigate a murder of a woman they just met. This time Heather has a problem with the results. They are sure the wrong person is in jail even though all the evidence points to him. Nice twist to this one.
How can someone who considers herself an author write something that makes no sense, such as this story, and with so many errors in spelling and word usage???? I would not even recommend this for a third grader.
